MISSION STATEMENT:

  • To be an effective credible witness to Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord in SA today
  • To empower Christians to address the social and moral issues in SA (Giants & Tracks)
  • To facilitate networking in various spheres of society for effective Christian action

POSITIONING STATEMENT:

  2. Facilitate regular workshops on Giants
  3. Encourage networking of Giant & Track leaders locally & nationally

GRASS ROOTS PARTICIPATION STRATEGY:

  1. Why should I get involved?
To defeat the giants we need to mobilise individual Christians and to encourage others by example to get involved in Kingdom activities & the Kingdom.
  2. What giant or track project should I get involved in?What is my passion & where could I make a difference?
  3. Where should I be involved?
My local community, village, township, suburb, town, city, ....metropole, district
  4. Who are my co-labourers?
If you have a project you can join, who is already in the team?
If you need to start a project, who should be in the team?
  5. To whom am I accountable? (Pastor / Church based initiative)
  6. Which current project could I support or could I initiate a new one?
Look for existing projects around you that are already doing the things you believe in (I.e. Church, State & NGOs). It could be a part of a greater issue (e.g. SMME development), or it could be the whole of a giant (e.g. combating crime).
  7. How will I know we are making a difference or adding value? Set realistic programmed and scheduled objectives.
