The Pastor and Leadership of the Church

Christian Greetings

Let's face it, one of the greatest challenges at this time in our country is leadership. There is a bankruptcy of leadership in our society, the corporate world and our government. I believe that the church is the answer as far as leadership development is concerned.

The I Can Foundation has been involved in leadership development during the past 15 years.

We are excited to inform you of our upcoming LEADERSHIP SUMMIT that will be held as follows:

Date: Friday 24 September 2004.

Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Venue: Faith Revival Centre in Herrencroft Drive, Phoenix.

Admission is free, the Good Lord has blessed us with sponsors. Complimentary Lunch will also be

provided and a love offering will be taken. Many other resource materials will be available for sale

at our book store during the conference.

The following are our speakers:

Dr. David and Mamike Molapo - who are management consultants to the top 100 SA

Companies.

Dr. Robb Thompson (U.S.A.) - an international author on leadership and relationships.

Pastor Clement Ibe - a dynamic emerging leader in one of the fastest growing church in SA.

Marietha Van der Merwe - a leading counsellor.

Pastor Edwin Govender - an international speaker.

The following are some of the topics that will be covered:

Leader and his family, faith and finance * Courageous leadership in a changing South Africa

Embracing change through creativity * Putting the soul into your organization

Strategic leadership scenario planning * How to cultivate thinking skills amongst leaders

A leader and his/her marriage a vital combination * Excellence in ministry

How to overcome fear and doubt whilst leading * Ten mistakes leader make

When Christian leaders truly believe that their prime goal is the welfare of their followers, they get

results. They create ministries and organizations that encourage growth and self re-evaluation.

Please note although this is a free admission, a ticket must be obtained through our offices for

catering purposes. We hope to receive your favourable reply before the 10 September 2004.

Your prayers are requested for this exciting upcoming event.

Yours in the Kings Service

David Molapo
