The
schools of our nation… where the majority of an entire young
generation are all together at one time in one place. And where
members of that same young generation are making decisions that
will affect them for the rest of their lives – and for eternity.
This represents an un-paralleled opportunity in Christian Youth
Ministry to have the maximum impact on the maximum number of young
people.
This
is the background for the “School-based Youth Workers”
Training Track. If you are a youth worker operating in a high
school or primary school in South Africa, or a member of a school
committee coordinating Christian ministry in your school, this
track will provide you with practical knowledge, attitudes, and
skills which will equip you to be God’s agent to change
lives!
Speakers
and facilitators with a combined total of over 100 years of Christian
Youth Work experience will guide you through a learning process
designed to help you grow in the areas of spiritual maturity,
emotional wholeness, as well as ministry effectiveness. Come prepared
to share your own experiences – both positive and negative
– and to learn from the experiences of others as we explore
together how to make the most of this God-given opportunity to
impact the lives of this nation’s youth.
